At Upskill Experience, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy and confidentiality of our learners’ information. This policy outlines how learner information may be accessed, shared, and protected.

1. Release of Information to Learners

Learners may request access to their own personal information and course records at any time. Most of this information is available via Learner Profile on the Upskill Experience platform. Further requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and must include:

  • Full name

  • Contact information

  • Specific details about the records requested

To ensure privacy, we verify the identity of anyone requesting information. We may ask for additional documentation if necessary. Requests will typically be fulfilled within 15 business days of verification.

2. Release of Information to Third Parties

Upskill Experience will not sell or disclose learner information to third parties without consent, except in the following cases:

  • Technology Platforms: Our programs are hosted on third-party platforms such as Thinkific (for course management) and Zoom (for live sessions). As a result, learner information (e.g., name, email address, course activity) is shared with these service providers as necessary to deliver our programs.

  • Legal Requirements: Information may be shared to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests.

Learners who participate in live Zoom sessions should be aware that while we prohibit unauthorized recording or screenshotting by attendees, we cannot guarantee that other participants will not capture or share content. By participating, learners accept this inherent risk.

3. Privacy Commitment and Limitations

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, including data encryption and access controls. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. Learners should exercise caution when sharing personal or sensitive information during live sessions or on course platforms.

4. Consent

By enrolling in a program, learners acknowledge and consent to:

  • The use of third-party platforms (e.g., Thinkific, Zoom) for program delivery

  • The associated transfer and storage of their information on these platforms

  • The inherent risks associated with live, online learning environments
